.xxxvij. Doucettes.—Take Porke, & hakke it smal, & Eyroun y-mellyd to-gederys, & a lytel Milke, & melle hem to-gederys with Hony & Pepir, & bake hem in a cofyn, & serue forth.
Ingredients
454 g | ground pork |
~200 g | honey |
2 | eggs |
~100 ml | milk |
ground pepper | |
short crust for a 2 shell pie | |
Steps
- Mix pork, eggs, milk, honey, & pepper.
- Bake in shell (~1 hour)
Note
Not as sweet as might be expected.
Would have a different texture if pork finely diced.
