Take benes & seethe them until they almost burst. Take & wring out the water. Do thereto onions ysode & yminced, & garlic therewith, fry them in oil or in grease, & do thereto powder douce, & serve it forth.

Ingredients

1/2 canbeans (kidney or chickpea)
~1/3onion, minced
2-3 clovesgarlic, minced
olive oil
sugar, cinnamon & ginger to taste

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a skillet.
  2. Add beans, onion, & garlic. Saute until starting to brown. Add spice to taste.
  3. Serve.

Note

Quick. Easy, Yummy. Better w/ chickpeas than w/ kidney beans.
