146 Gaunceli for gees. Take garlec and grinde it smale, safroun and flour þerwith, & salt; temper it vp with cowe mylke, and seeþ it wel, and serue it forth.

Ingredients

6 clovesgarlic
saffron
salt
2/3 c.hot milk
flour
butter

Steps

  1. Mince garlic.
  2. Add saffron ground w/ salt & add hot milk.
  3. Thicken w/ a roux of flour and butter

Note

Quite strong, but had a nice flavor.
