Take funges and pare hem clene and dyce hem; take leke and shrede hym small and do hym in seeþ in gode broth. Colour it with safroun, and do þerinne powdour fort.

1 | leek |
14 oz. | beef broth |
saffron | |
poudre fort | |
salt | |
Steps
- Chop mushrooms and leeks.
- Bring broth to a boil, add saffron, poudre forte, and salt. Add mushrooms and leeks.
- Boil for ~10 min.
- Serve as soup.
