Take funges and pare hem clene and dyce hem, take leke and shred hym small and do hy to seep in gode broth, color it with safron and do y inne powdo fort.

Ingredients

2 c.hot water
1bouillon cube (onion)
1 lb.mushrooms
3large leeks
1/4 tsp.saffron
2 Tbs.hot water
1/8 tsp.ginger
up to 1/4 tsp.pepper

Steps

  1. Heat 2 cups of water, throw in a bouillon cube (onion).
  2. Cut up 1 lb. mushrooms and 3 large leeks and seethe them in the bouillon.
  3. Put about 1/4 tsp. saffron in 2 Tablespoons of HOT water and let it sit a few minutes until the water is bright yellow, then add this liquid to the pot along with 1/8 tsp. ginger and up to 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
  4. Simmer as long as you like.

Note

Try to get your saffron water strong enough to compete with the mushroom flavor - I used my saffron twice adding new water.
